The report, titled \u201cLegal Jobs Emerging After the AI Transformation of the Legal Profession, 2026 Edition,<\/a>\u201d<\/em> provides an in-depth analysis of how AI is reshaping the legal profession globally and within the MENA region, introducing new professional roles, redefining traditional legal functions, and raising pressing ethical and human rights concerns.<\/p>\n

A Transformative Shift in the Legal Landscape<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The report highlights that artificial intelligence is not replacing lawyers but fundamentally redefining legal work. AI systems are increasingly capable of performing complex tasks such as document review, contract drafting, and predictive legal analysis, leading to structural transformation across legal systems.<\/p>\n

At the same time, this shift is generating entirely new legal roles, particularly in areas related to AI governance, compliance, and accountability. These include AI Compliance Lawyers, AI Ethics Counsel, Algorithmic Accountability Lawyers, and Legal AI Auditors.<\/p>\n
